Data Center Technician - Springfield, Ohio


Full-Time | Permanent | Shift-Based (2nd & 3rd Shift Focus) - (*Commutable from Columbus, Dayton and surrounding areas)


We're partnering with an established global technology company to recruit experienced Data Center Technicians for a rapidly expanding facility in Springfield, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale, mission-critical operation supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure and next-generation computing technologies.


*Relocation applications are welcome; however, relocation assistance is not available.


You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise server hardware within a high-availability production environment.


Typical duties include:

  • Rack and stack server and network equipment
  • Structured cabling and hardware installations
  • Diagnosing and repairing server hardware faults
  • Replacing components including drives, memory, CPUs and motherboards
  • Supporting hardware deployments and upgrades
  • Working alongside facilities teams to maintain uptime
  • Managing spare parts inventory
  • Supporting incident response within a 24/7 operation


About You - We're looking for technicians who can make an immediate impact.


Ideally you'll have:

  • 4+ years' experience in a data centre or enterprise hardware environment
  • Strong server hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with rack & stack deployments
  • Knowledge of data centre infrastructure including power and cooling
  • The ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment


Experience supporting GPU platforms or high-density compute environments would be advantageous.
