Accountabilities
- Perform project tasks independently while contributing to cybersecurity assessment engagements and client deliverables.
- Collect, organize, and analyze documentation, evidence, and technical artifacts required for security reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support large-scale security and compliance projects.
- Contribute to project deliverables by preparing detailed, accurate, and professional documentation.
- Review security policies, procedures, and technical controls to identify gaps and recommend remediation actions.
- Provide practical recommendations to address business and technical security issues.
- Evaluate information systems, including servers, virtualization environments, infrastructure components, client-server architectures, and databases.
- Support assessments related to cybersecurity, compliance, and information security programs.
- Apply knowledge of security standards and regulatory requirements, including PCI, HIPAA, data privacy, cyber risk, and ISO frameworks.
- Assist with the development and management of information security programs, business continuity planning, and change control processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through written reports and client interactions.
- Travel when required to support business and client needs.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT or information security.
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technical controls, and information systems.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001/27002, and data privacy requirements.
- Ability to analyze technical information and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete project tasks independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Commitment to obtaining two security certifications within 36 months, such as CISSP, QSA/QPASP, CISM, CISA, CCNA, CCDA, CCSA, or GIAC.
