Job Description
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up test stands for high-thrust rocket engines. You will ensure the development and management of test procedures, and you will conduct rigorous testing to validate the engines' performance, reliability, and safety. You will contribute directly to the optimization of propulsion systems
Tasks & missions
The responsibilities will include:
- Depending on the test campaign, act as Test Campaign Manager or provide technical support to the Test Campaign Manager.
- Lead the technical and operational management of test campaigns and monitor the related activities.
- Participate in the design, integration, and commissioning of test benches, particularly regarding electrical aspects (power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems).
- Contribute to the commissioning, verification, and reliability of the electrical installations required for testing activities.
- Ensure test traceability, report technical issues, and support anomaly resolution with the design teams.
- Participate in risk assessments and safety studies related to test campaigns.
- Participate in the qualification and development of automated procedures using the Latitude SCADA system.
- Ensure the control and monitoring of the test bench control systems (electrical and software).
- Monitor and implement low-level system upgrades (including program version changes).
- Maintain the control system in operational condition.
- Apply software and hardware deployment rules and processes.
- Ensure that sequence modifications are consistent and compatible with the existing installations.

Technical Skills:
