Marketing Designer (Web)

Talented Designer for SaaS Company - Fully remote - Offices in Liverpool Street.

We’re seeking a talented designer to help elevate our marketing website and visual brand for a growing SaaS company.

As the sole designer, you'll collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful web pages that influence customer decisions and leave a lasting impression.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and have a deep understanding of what makes great web design. You'll know that effective design is about more than aesthetics – it’s about clear communication, considering both user needs and business priorities, and presenting a cohesive brand image.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the marketing team to design and redesign web pages and the entire website.
• Develop, manage, and uphold the visual identity across all channels.
• Design branded assets for various marketing channels, including social media, online ads, videos, and other content marketing tactics.
• Conduct user testing to identify opportunities and assess the effectiveness of your work.
• Take ownership of your design process and deliverables, and communicate them clearly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing websites, preferably for software products, with ownership of marketing design.
• Exceptional visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Strong understanding of website design best practices, particularly in layout, typography, color, and showcasing software products.
• Appreciation for how design supports brand, with a list of admired brands.
• Enthusiasm for user testing, with a genuine desire to understand the product and our customers.
• Willingness to share ideas and get feedback early, even in sketch form.
• Collaborative approach, managing feedback well and open to exploring alternatives, but also knows when to push back.
• Clear communication skills, especially when briefing developers.
• Proactive and results-driven mindset.
