Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Product Marketing Manager based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to build and define product marketing strategy within a fast-growing technology company transforming a traditional industry.

As the first dedicated product marketing hire, you will have significant ownership and influence over positioning, launches, customer adoption, and market perception.

You will work closely with product, engineering, sales, and leadership teams to shape how innovative solutions are brought to market.

The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can translate complex technology into compelling customer value.

You will help create the messaging, tools, and insights needed to accelerate growth and strengthen competitive differentiation.

Accountabilities

As a Sr Product Marketing Manager, you will own the product narrative, go-to-market strategy, and customer-facing communication for innovative solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products are positioned effectively, adopted successfully, and continuously improved based on market insights.

  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams from early development stages to incorporate customer insights, market feedback, and positioning strategies into product decisions.
  • Define and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for new features and capabilities.
  • Own end-to-end product launches, including audience definition, messaging, release communications, launch materials, and adoption strategies.
  • Drive customer engagement and product adoption throughout the user journey through lifecycle campaigns, in-product messaging, and enablement initiatives.
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts by analyzing market trends, competitors, and emerging alternatives to create actionable insights and sales strategies.
  • Develop sales and solutions engineering enablement resources, including battle cards, one-pagers, demo narratives, objection handling materials, and training programs.
  • Maintain consistent product messaging across customer touchpoints, including websites, campaigns, customer materials, and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on pricing, packaging, and broader market strategies as the business scales.
  • Partner with marketing teams on demand generation, customer stories, content initiatives, and campaigns while maintaining strong product alignment.
  • Measure product marketing performance, track adoption metrics, and continuously optimize strategies based on data and customer feedback.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on product marketing professional with experience bringing technology products to market and influencing product strategy. You have strong communication skills, industry understanding, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

  • Proven experience in product marketing, ideally within construction technology, SaaS, or adjacent industry software environments.
  • Strong understanding of customer workflows, industry challenges, and the ability to communicate credibly with technical and business audiences.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineers to influence product development and go-to-market decisions.
  • Demonstrated success launching products or features and driving measurable adoption or engagement outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, and market strategy.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling customer-facing narratives.
  • Experience creating sales enablement materials and supporting revenue teams with strategic insights.
  • Hands-on approach with experience executing campaigns, managing tools, and measuring performance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to define goals, evaluate results, and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent storytelling abilities.
  • Experience marketing AI-powered products or emerging technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction technology, CPM scheduling, P6, Microsoft Project, or built-world software is a plus.
