About the role:
We're hiring an experienced HR Generalist – Benefits & Leave Administration for a contract opportunity supporting a growing organization in a highly regulated industry.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about delivering an exceptional employee experience while serving as the subject matter expert for Benefits Administration and Leave of Absence (LOA) programs. Beyond managing day-to-day operations, you'll play a key role in improving processes, creating documentation, and building long-term organizational capability through training and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, COBRA, disability, and wellness programs.

• Manage complex Leave of Absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, parental leave, military leave, personal leave, and multi-state leave programs.
• Partner with benefits vendors, leave administrators, Legal, Payroll, and HR teams to ensure compliance and a seamless employee experience.
• Develop SOPs, workflows, manager guides, employee FAQs, and process documentation.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and establish scalable HR operations.
• Mentor and train internal HR team members to become future Benefits & LOA subject matter experts.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in Benefits Administration and/or Leave of Absence (LOA).
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and multi-state leave regulations.
