This internationally recognised property combines contemporary luxury with exceptional meetings, incentives, conferences and events facilities, creating a destination that caters equally to corporate, leisure and large-scale group business.
As the hotel prepares to welcome its first guests, they are seeking an experienced Sales & Events Manager to drive commercial performance across the MICE and events segment. This is a highly visible role, balancing proactive business development with seamless event delivery, ensuring every enquiry becomes an exceptional guest experience while contributing to the property's long-term commercial success.

1) Business Development & Sales
- Proactively identify, develop and secure new corporate, MICE and event business across local and international markets.
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event planners and key industry partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation and contract completion.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows and industry functions to generate new business opportunities.
2) Events Management
- Oversee the planning and coordination of conferences, meetings, gala dinners, weddings and private events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, ensuring exceptional communication and attention to detail.
- Work closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, Culinary and Front Office teams to deliver seamless event execution.
- Ensure every event reflects the luxury standards and service philosophy of the brand.
3) Commercial Performance
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets across meetings, conferences and events.
- Prepare accurate forecasts, pipeline reports and sales activity updates.
- Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling, strategic pricing and cross-selling hotel services.
- Monitor market activity and competitor trends to identify new commercial opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile

- Minimum four years' experience in luxury hotel sales, conference and events, or MICE business development.
- Proven success managing corporate accounts and large-scale events within a five-star hotel environment.
- Strong understanding of conference, meetings and group sales strategy.
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate confidently and build lasting client relationships.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Experience using Delphi, Opera, Salesforce or comparable hotel sales and CRM systems would be advantageous.
- Fluent English is essential. Additional European languages would be beneficial.
- Eligible to work within Malta or the European Union.
