Job Description
Head of Product Strategy | Build the Next Growth Engine Inside a Market-Leading SaaS Company
What if your next product wasn't just another feature...but an entirely new business?
I'm partnering with a highly profitable, private equity-backed vertical SaaS company that has already accomplished what most software companies spend years chasing: they've become the trusted system of record in their industry, captured more than 50% market share, generate $20M+ in recurring revenue, maintain approximately 40% EBITDA margins, and retain 95%+ of their customers.
The core business is thriving.
Now comes the exciting part.
The CEO is making a significant investment in identifying and building the company's next major growth engine, and they're looking for a strategic product leader to partner directly with them to make it happen.
This is NOT a traditional Head of Product role.

You won't inherit a mature roadmap or spend your time prioritizing feature requests.
Instead, you'll be responsible for answering questions like:
- Where should this company grow next?
- What adjacent workflows or customer problems are we uniquely positioned to solve?
- How can we leverage one of the industry's richest proprietary datasets to create AI-powered products and entirely new revenue streams?
- Which opportunities deserve investment—and just as importantly, which ones don't?
Think of this as building a startup inside an already successful SaaS business. You'll have the stability, resources, profitability, and executive support of an established market leader—but the mandate of a founder.
What You'll Own
- Identifying adjacent market opportunities and new business lines.
- Leading customer discovery to validate opportunities before engineering investment.
- Building investment cases, sizing markets, and influencing executive strategy.
- Defining pricing, packaging, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy.
- Working directly with the CEO and executive team to shape the company's long-term growth strategy.
- Leveraging AI and proprietary data to create differentiated products and new revenue streams.

You Have Experience
- Personally identifying entirely new product, market, or business opportunities—not simply executing an existing roadmap.
- Conducting deep customer discovery and validating demand before significant engineering investment.
- Building products from 0→1 and commercializing them into measurable revenue.
- Owning pricing, packaging, GTM strategy, and adoption—not just product delivery.
- Thinking like a founder who naturally asks, "What should we build next?" rather than "What's next on the roadmap?"
If your favorite part of product leadership is discovering unmet customer needs, validating new markets, building businesses from scratch, and partnering directly with executive leadership on long-term company strategy, let'sconnect.
