Implementation Engineer

We're looking for an Implementation Engineer who loves solving complex onboarding challenges and helping clients succeed. You will play a key role in ensuring every new client has a smooth, successful start with OneUp, turning data and processes into powerful insights that drive results.

Implementation Engineers at OneUp work closely with our Account Managers to manage new client setups from start to finish. You’ll deliver a first-class onboarding experience by ensuring that each client’s platform is configured perfectly to suit their needs and populated with accurate, insightful data for them to enjoy.

Throughout the setup process, you'll be a trusted advisor, confidently guiding clients on their CRM processes and the metrics they'll use within OneUp. Thriving in a busy environment, you'll often manage several implementations at once, staying organised and keeping everything running smoothly to deadline.

Clear and effective communication with clients is your superpower. You simplify complex processes, decode client needs, and ensure everyone understands what success looks like. No problem is unsolvable, some might just take a little more creativity, but you love a challenge and won’t stop until you’ve cracked it.

• Configure integrations using JSON, the core technical part of the role, transforming data from external systems into meaningful performance metrics on OneUp
• Complete thorough data checks, using SQL to compare data on OneUp with third-party systems and ensure accuracy
• Coordinate with Account Managers to run strategy calls with new clients
• Advise on best practices and process requirements for a successful setup

• Populate and maintain onboarding documentation as a central source of truth between us and the client
• Manage client expectations through regular calls and emails, keeping them up to date on progress
• Complete thorough data checks by comparing data on OneUp with third-party systems to ensure accuracy before handing over to the AM for training
• Work closely with Account Managers and our Support Representatives to ensure they understand any nuances in client configurations

• 2+ years’ experience in a technical onboarding, implementation or similar customer-facing role
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Understanding of JSON and SQL
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several implementations at once
• Warm, friendly and consultative approach, always finding a way to solve problems
• Technically curious and quick to learn the inner workings of different systems
• Ability to manage client expectations and project timelines effectively
• Comfortable working remotely in a dedicated home workspace
• UK-based

• Experience working in a scaling company, introducing or improving processes to support growth
• A solid understanding of CRMs and how they operate
• Knowledge of recruitment companies and their processes
• Experience as a Sales Engineer
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders such as Directors or VPs

• £35,000 to £40,000 salary (DOE)
