Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security operations, vulnerability management, cloud security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and incident response. This role involves protecting enterprise infrastructure, identifying security risks, implementing security controls, and responding to cyber threats across on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts using SIEM and EDR platforms.
- Investigate and resolve cybersecurity incidents.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions.
- Secure Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and WAF solutions.
- Conduct threat hunting and malware analysis.
- Develop security automation using PowerShell or Python.
- Perform security hardening for servers, cloud resources, and endpoints.
- Implement IAM, MFA, Conditional Access, and PAM solutions.
- Assist with penetration testing and remediation efforts.
- Maintain security policies and documentation.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams.
- Participate in an on-call incident response rotation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Cyber Security or Information Security experience.
- Experience with SIEM and EDR platforms.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools.
- Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
- Experience securing Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux security.
- Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
