Title: Senior Data Engineer (Azure)

Location: Remote (must work EST hours)

Client: Confidential - eCommerce company (health-related products, not healthcare)

The Role

They've got 30TB+ sitting in a data lake, fully compartmentalized. This role is about building the pipelines to unlock it - not maintaining something that already works. Output feeds 4 initiatives: telehealth, their own product line, a personalization project (redefining UX through data), and their core selling platform. Think consumer behavior - what people buy, when, when they buy again.

Must Have Requirements

• 5+ years data engineering, hands-on building pipelines/infrastructure from scratch
• Strong Python
• Snowflake
• Azure or AWS (Azure preferred, AWS fine if reputable environment)

• Data modeling / warehousing experience
• Can translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders

• BigQuery (used here as a reporting tool, not core infra)
