Cloud DRM Product Owner

At BBM, we create video streaming solutions that power platforms watched by millions of users. Right now, our Cloud DRM product is evolving fast - and we’re looking for someone who will take it to the next level. Until now, our Head of Business Unit has been juggling a few hats: leading the BU and acting as Product Owner for Video Protection services. As our team (now 16 talented people!) continues to grow, we’re splitting into two smaller, focused product teams.

Both areas will be led by the Head of Business Unit, with two Product Owners responsible for them. One PO is already in place and takes care of CVK (Cloud Video Kit), while for the second area, Video Protection, we are now looking for someone dedicated. And that’s where you come in.

Scope Of Responsibilities

As a Product Owner, you’ll help shape the future of our Cloud DRM product and make sure our teams move in the right direction - together.

You’ll be close to both the business and the development side, making sure that ideas turn into real, valuable features for our clients and users.

Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Writing down and refining functional and non-functional requirements to guide product development.
• Co-creating and maintaining the product roadmap in Jira Discovery - at first together with the Head of BU, then gradually taking full ownership.
• Understanding the product & supporting sales team in what is possible and what is not.
• Getting to know the video streaming world inside out, so you can make smart product decisions.
• Running and supporting Scrum ceremonies so the team can work smoothly and stay on the same page.
• Helping the development team remove blockers and keeping the work flowing.
• Taking care of our Jira space - making sure sprints start and finish on time, tasks are clear, and commitments are delivered.
• Having regular 1:1 talks with team members to keep good vibes, openness, and motivation in the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing digital products ideally in a SaaS or video streaming environment.
• Hands-on experience with agile frameworks and product management tools, with the ability to spot and introduce process improvements that make teamwork smoother and delivery faster.
• Solid understanding of software development processes.
• Comfortable communicating in English, including with international clients.
• A can-do attitude and ability to motivate the team.
• Flexibility, initiative, and strong communication skills.
• Independence, ownership, and a sense of responsibility.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience or knowledge of the OTT (Over-the-Top media) industry.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools, such as Confluence and Jira.
• Experience with Cloud, preferably AWS.
