Devotrix Inc is hiring for an exciting client project building an AI-powered enterprise compliance platform for financial institutions. The system transforms regulatory compliance into a strategic advantage using trusted, explainable AI - helping banks, credit unions, and financial institutions manage complex regulatory requirements through intelligent document processing, policy automation, and AI-driven workflows.

Location: Remote (Full-time from Bangladesh)

Position: Full-time

Compensation: 100,000-135,000+ BDT (flexible for exceptional fit)

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Backend Developer (Application Focus) to accelerate feature delivery across the platform’s core services. You’ll implement business logic, integrations, and workflow orchestration in Python (FastAPI), collaborating with front-end and AI teams to deliver reliable, high-impact features quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement backend application services in Python (FastAPI) with clear API contracts (OpenAPI) and modular domain boundaries.
• Translate product requirements and regulatory workflows into resilient business logic and background tasks.
• Integrate with internal and external systems (Auth0, Azure Blob Storage, document stores, messaging systems, third-party APIs) using robust error handling and retries.
• Work with Azure Cognitive Search for hybrid search and pgvector for semantic retrieval.
• Contribute to tests (unit/integration/e2e), code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Optimize request/response performance, caching (Redis), and database access for scalability.

• Write concise technical documentation and participate in agile ceremonies across distributed teams.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend experience shipping production-grade services.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL/SQL, and REST/WebSocket integration.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, code reviews, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
• Strong debugging, logging, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience working with Azure services - App Services, Blob Storage, Application Gateway.
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with background jobs, pub/sub or streams, and caching layers (Redis).
• Exposure to AI/LLM integrations or vector search (pgvector, Azure Cognitive Search).
