Our client is an exciting deep-tech start-up that is breaking new ground in the development of unique atomic layer deposition manufacturing solutions for on-demand materials addressing the Microelectronics, Optics and Photonics sectors globally.
The company’s unique technology allows ‘on-demand’ 3D printing at an atomic level enabling the manufacture of previously impossible mechanical, electrical and optical systems.
We’re seeking an experienced and capable engineering leader to drive and expand a highly talented engineering team whilst managing product design. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience of product development for high-precision systems such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, involving heat transfer, fluid dynamics, system design and highly accurate calibration technologies.

To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
- Extensive experience in the development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, in particular thin film or atomic layer deposition equipment.
- Knowledge and experience of product design and simulation tools such as SolidWorks.
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field.
- Significant experience operating within a complex multidisciplinary system engineering environment.
- Experience working in time-critical projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in budgeting and people management.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for optimising team performance and development.
