Senior C++ Engineer - Low-Level Infrastructure

FTD LTD builds technology for payments integrity and transaction auditing - systems that process high volumes of network traffic and demand precision, speed and reliability.

We are hiring a hands-on C++ engineer to build the low-level infrastructure at the core of our platform. This is a fully remote role.

What you will do

• Design and develop low-level C++ components with a focus on performance, memory efficiency and reliability
• Build and optimize TCP/IP networking layers - sockets, protocols, high-throughput data paths
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy, scale and operate them on Kubernetes
• Profile, debug and tune systems at the OS and network level
• Own components end to end - from design through production

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of professional C++ development (C++11 or later), including low-level work - memory management, multithreading, performance optimization
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking - socket programming, protocol handling, troubleshooting with tools like Wireshark or tcpdump
• Hands-on experience with Docker in production environments
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes - deployments, services, scaling, debugging pods
• Comfortable in Linux environments
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setup - strong written communication and self-management

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech or other high-volume transaction systems
