Role Overview
As a Mobile (iOS) Engineer on the HENNGE Access Control team, you will own the iOS applications (including HENNGE Secure Browser and HENNGE Lock) powering HENNGE One, Japan’s No. 1 IDaaS platform serving 2.8+ million users. You will drive the complete feature development lifecycle, autonomously managing technical design, task breakdown, and delivery. To ensure seamless integration, you will collaborate directly with backend, product, and infrastructure teams. Additionally, you will spearhead the modernization of our mobile architecture by implementing new features, ensuring security compliance, and systematically phasing out legacy dependencies as our platform scales.

What You’ll Do
- Own the development of our secure mobile browser, which allows administrators to apply feature restrictions based on dynamic rules and authentication via OIDC.
- Maintain and improve our secure push OTP application.
- Design fault-tolerant applications that interface smoothly with our cloud environment.
- Build and maintain robust mobile CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to scope requirements, estimate timelines, and deliver premium enterprise experiences.
- Architect seamless codebase migrations (such as CocoaPods to Swift Package Manager) to ensure uninterrupted user experiences.
- Drive technical excellence through active participation in code reviews, architectural design, and technical decision-making across the mobile applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience developing production-scale mobile applications using SwiftUI.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on experience with mobile development tooling (Xcode, App Store Connect) and client-server communication concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code documentation, and clean-code practices.
- Fluency in English (Japanese is not required), equivalent to CEFR B2 level or above (e.g., TOEIC 785+); an interest in working within a multicultural environment is essential.

- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Professional experience building large-scale enterprise or SaaS iOS applications in the B2B space.
- Experience managing App Store Connect, TestFlight deployments, and the app release lifecycle.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD workflows (e.g., Fastlane, CircleCI)
- Knowledge of mobile web views (WKWebView), native-to-JavaScript bridging, and web technologies.
- Strong end-to-end to debugging skills, with experience utilizing observability tools to investigate logs in related systems.
- Solid understanding of web security fundamentals and identity/ access management (OIDC/MFA).
- Ability to read and review Android code and ensure cross-platform feature alignment.
- Interest in contributing to open-source projects or participating in the tech community.
Work Style
Flexible working hours with a designated core time (11:00–16:00), allowing you to organize your day effectively. Employees typically work 8 hours per day with a 1-hour break.

Compensation
Annual salary: 8 million to 10.5 million JPY
