About Global Expansion

The Role
We are looking for a sharp, self-sufficient Marketing & CRM Executive to support our Senior Marketing Manager and our RevOps/GTM function across two fronts: hands-on marketing execution and day-to-day ownership of our CRM. You will build and ship campaigns, landing pages, and on-brand assets, and you will keep our CRM accurate, well-structured, and working as it should.
This is not a pure content role. A real part of the job is technical: building and debugging workflows, understanding how the data is structured, and solving problems in the system rather than escalating them. You will not be expected to match our RevOps lead's depth, but you do need genuine CRM competence and a strong instinct for problem-solving.
This is a high-autonomy role for someone who has done this before, knows how to prioritise, takes pride in getting the details right, and uses AI to lift their work beyond what they could produce alone.
What You'll Do
HubSpot Marketing
•        Build, test, and schedule email campaigns in HubSpot Marketing Hub
•        Create and publish landing pages and web content using HubSpot CMS
•        Set up and manage content scheduling across channels
•        Monitor campaign performance and pull reports for the Senior Marketing Manager
CRM & Data
•        Own the health of our CRM: data structure, deduplication, list management, and segmentation

•        Build, test, and debug workflows and automations, and work out why something did not fire when it should have
•        Maintain clean, accurate records so campaign targeting and reporting can be trusted
•        Build segments and reports from scratch, not just read existing ones
•        Spot data problems before they cause damage, and flag the ones you cannot fix alone
Creative & Content
•        Produce on-brand marketing assets in Canva — social graphics, email headers, one-pagers, and more
•        Support content creation across LinkedIn, email, and web — writing, editing, and formatting
•        Ensure all content and assets are consistent with the GX brand
Campaign & Admin Support
•        Provide end-to-end campaign support to the Marketing Manager, including briefing, scheduling, execution, and follow-through
•        Handle ad hoc marketing requests from internal stakeholders, turning briefs around at pace
•        Manage marketing admin including asset organisation, content calendars, and project tracking
What We're Looking For
•         3+ years in a hands-on marketing role that included real CRM responsibility

Nice to Have
•        HubSpot certification (Marketing Hub or equivalent)
•        Experience supporting a marketing function
•        Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager or other paid social platforms
•        Basic SEO knowledge
How We Work
GX is a fast-moving business. Marketing sits close to commercial, which means your work will directly influence pipeline and revenue conversations. You'll report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the wider team. We're flexible on engagement model — freelance or full-time and the role is fully remote, based in South Africa.
