About The Team
You'll be joining our People team as the first point of contact for all things IT and equipment related. This role puts you in touch with the whole team, based all over the world, so you'll need to be comfortable working independently in a remote environment, during the UK timezone, communicating proactively, and managing your own workload with minimal oversight.
What You'll Do
- Be the go-to person the whole company knows and trusts for IT support — from resetting passwords and setting up Google Groups and meetings, to getting familiar with (and gaining admin access to) the majority of our tools
- Provide new joiners with the right access and subscriptions from day one, coordinating closely with the People team.
- Set up new joiners with their equipment, and manage the full lifecycle of company laptops — including purchasing, shipping, coordinating with hub managers and coordinators on equipment availability and reassignment, facilitating repairs, etc.
- Own the onboarding and offboarding process end-to-end, ensuring equipment and software access are actioned promptly and without follow-up needed
- Troubleshoot technical issues and work directly with Deel (for Hofy/Deel-acquired laptops) to resolve equipment problems, support colleagues with laptops purchased directly from Apple.
- Proactively identify ways we can work smarter — if you spot a process that could save time or improve efficiency, you'll be the one to propose it and bring it to life
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date equipment inventory so the team always knows what we have and where it is
- Provide ad hoc remote support for presentations and company All Hands
