Job Description
Senior Technical Game Animator | Unreal Engine & C++ | EU Remote working | €70k-95k + excellent bonuses and profit share
- Fully remote working within the EU
We're partnering with an ambitious independent game studio developing a next-generation, ultra-realistic multiplayer first-person shooter in Unreal Engine 5.
This is an opportunity to join a small, highly experienced development team where you'll take ownership of the game's technical animation systems from an early stage. Rather than joining a large production pipeline, you'll play a key role in defining how animation is built, implemented and refined across an entirely new multiplayer IP.
If you're passionate about technical animation, enjoy solving complex implementation challenges and want genuine influence over the quality of a new project, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
You'll be responsible for building and refining animation systems that deliver responsive, high-quality gameplay. Working closely with programmers, designers and artists, you'll help shape the studio's animation pipeline while remaining hands-on with implementation across Unreal Engine 5.
This role would suit someone already working as a Senior, Lead or Principal Technical Animator, Animation Programmer, or an experienced Gameplay Animator with strong technical expertise looking to take on greater ownership.
