Join our client as a Senior Engineer in Medium Voltage Power Conversion Systems

1. The position requires candidates to have R&D experience in medium-voltage power electronics, including but not limited to medium-voltage power conversion systems, power conversion, medium-voltage insulation, system control and protection, and medium-frequency transformers (MFT). Relevant product experience may include SST, FACTS, STATCOM, MV motor drives, and similar applications.

2. We need candidates with hands-on experience in the design and testing of practical medium-voltage products. Academic or Pure paper-based research is not sufficient for our partners needs, as our partners current team already has enough engineers to cover that type of work.

Skills sought:

• PhD or Master’s degree in power electronics, electrical/electronic engineering, or a related discipline.

• Several years of commercial experience in medium-voltage and high-power electronics, including product design or prototype development in an industrial environment.

• Deep expertise in MV power electronic converter topologies, modulation and control strategies for MV systems, medium-frequency transformer design, and multi-physics co-design and simulation (electrical, magnetic, thermal, and reliability).

• Good knowledge of medium-voltage standards; practical experience in insulation coordination is an advantage.

• Spoken English expertise
