About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will work primarily with Node.js, NestJS, and microservices, building and owning services end-to-end. Experience with React and Next.js is a strong plus, as some work spans the full stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
- Develop and operate microservices, including service boundaries, APIs, and integrations.
- Work with PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
- Build event-driven flows using message queues and asynchronous processing.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and take part in code reviews.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering conventions.
- Collaborate closely with the team across the full delivery cycle, from design to release.
- Optionally contribute to frontend work (React / Next.js) where features span the stack.
Qualifications
Required
- Solid commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with NestJS (or Express / Fastify with willingness to work in NestJS).
- Strong understanding of microservices and asynchronous, event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including migrations, indexing, and transactions.
- Solid engineering fundamentals: clean architecture, testing, and code quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team.
- Spoken Ukrainian or Russian
