Job Description

As a Proxy Product Owner, you will serve as the strategic lead for products that drive impact, with end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle. Positioned at the intersection of business strategy and engineering delivery, you will define what gets built, identify the target audience, and articulate the rationale behind every product decision.

If you join us, you will:

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap, keeping it aligned with business objectives and evolving customer needs.
  • Partner closely with engineering leads, designers, and business stakeholders to translate strategy into a well-prioritized, actionable backlog.
  • Drive Agile ceremonies sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives keeping delivery predictable and transparent.
  • Turn customer feedback, usage data, and market signals into clear, evidence-based product decisions.
  • Define and track product KPIs; use metrics to continuously improve outcomes rather than just output.
  • Communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks clearly to senior stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Articulate the business value of everything the team ships and advocate for the problems worth solving.
  • Identify and remove blockers that stand between the team and a great product experience.
  • Stay close to market and industry trends to inform long-term product positioning.

What are we looking for

  • 3+ years of hands-on Business Analyst/ Requirements Analyst or Product Owner experience in a software or digital product environment.
  • Proven ability to navigate cross-team dependencies and align multiple teams around large-scale initiatives.
  • Actively leverage AI tooling and agentic workflows to boost productivity across the product lifecycle, from requirements and research to backlog management and documentation.
  • Solid command of Agile/Scrum methodologies; you have run the ceremonies and shaped the process, not just attended.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships across levels, from engineering teams to C-suite.
  • Strong analytical mindset comfortable defining KPIs, reading data, and making evidence-based calls under uncertainty.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with cross-functional, distributed teams.
  • Ability to write well-articulated user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable value.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Azure DevOps, or Figma.
  • Exposure to UX research methods and a track record of working alongside design teams.
  • Experience with product analytics platforms and experimentation frameworks (e.g. A/B testing, feature flags).
  • Experience with competitive analysis and market research.
