Drive business development and revenue growth across the Hospitality sector throughout Southeast Asia
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, branded residences, and other hospitality properties
Identify, qualify, and engage key decision-makers, including hotel owners, developers, operators, consultants, designers, system integrators, and channel partners
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events
Understand customer operational challenges and recommend innovative smart access, digital locking, and intelligent locker solutions
Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and solution presentation to negotiation and closing
Maintain accurate sales activities, forecasts, and opportunity updates using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
Work closely with marketing and regional teams to support campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives
Represent the company at hospitality exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to deliver a consistent customer experience
Technical Skills Required

Business Development Manager - Hospitality Technology (Southeast Asia) Relocation

A local leader in the smart access, security, and digital hospitality technology industry is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across Southeast Asia.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong relationships in the hospitality sector who enjoys developing new business, managing strategic accounts, and introducing innovative technology solutions to hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, and hospitality operators.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and revenue growth across the Hospitality sector throughout Southeast Asia.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, branded residences, and other hospitality properties.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage key decision-makers, including hotel owners, developers, operators, consultants, designers, system integrators, and channel partners.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events.

Requirements
Essential Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience within the technology industry.
  • Proven success in selling solutions into the hospitality market.
  • Established network with hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, hospitality groups, consultants, or system integrators.
  • Strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and enterprise-level customer relationships.
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
  • Experience selling one or more of the following: Electronic access control and Security systems

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent business development and consultative selling skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify new market opportunities.
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from operational teams to C-level executives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into practical technology solutions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a regional role.
  • Fluent in English and the local language

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia as required.
