Job Description


These roles are open in various locations in TX and NY - they do require you to be onsite (relocation assistance is provided).


Futura is partnering with a leading AI infrastructure innovator that is building some of the worlds largest and most advanced AI data centers.


Why This Role Matters:

You’ll manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the hardware fleet, ensuring every server and network device performs flawlessly. From installation and deployment to troubleshooting and first-response support, your work guarantees high system reliability for AI workloads that cannot afford downtime.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and deploy server and network equipment, including GPU servers.
  • Maintain asset accuracy while replacing server and network device components.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting, cabling diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Prioritize and resolve tickets efficiently, supporting escalations from lower-tier technicians.
  • Act as onsite first responder for incidents, coordinating with SMEs from datacenter engineering and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide onsite services to support initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.


Qualifications:

  • Server hardware troubleshooting (POST, BIOS, PXE, IPMI, BMC).
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and network hardware (cabling, switches, routers).
  • Linux administration experience.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with GPU servers (H100, B200, GB200, etc.).
  • Diploma or professional certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong organizational skills, agility, and ability to operate in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and vendor/project engagement experience.
