This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of AV Sales based in United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy for advanced audio-visual solutions across a broad and dynamic market. You will lead a high-performing sales organization, driving revenue growth through both direct and channel sales models. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on commercial leadership, requiring close collaboration across marketing, product, engineering, and operations teams. You will build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, integrators, consultants, and partners within the AV ecosystem. With a strong focus on pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy, you will ensure consistent commercial performance and market expansion. This position offers the opportunity to influence major enterprise deals and contribute directly to the growth of innovative, large-scale visual and audio technologies used globally.

  • Support complex, high-value sales pursuits, including executive-level negotiations and deal structuring.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure effective use of CRM systems, sales processes, and commercial governance standards.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, organizational development, and cross-functional decision-making.

Requirements

This role requires a seasoned commercial leader with deep experience in complex, solution-based sales environments, particularly within AV, technology, or capital equipment industries. You should bring a strong ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consistent revenue performance in a matrixed organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience with significant leadership responsibility.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing sales teams and sales leaders.
  • Strong expertise in consultative, channel, and direct sales models with long sales cycles.
  • Experience working with integrators, consultants, end users, and enterprise customers in AV or related sectors.
  • Strong business acumen including forecasting, pipeline management, margin optimization, and territory planning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and executive relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Comfort operating in cross-functional, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer engagement and business needs.
