This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an iOS Software Engineer - Finance Super App based in India.
This role is focused on building next-generation mobile experiences that power financial services at scale, including insurance, payments, savings, and investment-related journeys. You will contribute to a fast-growing super app used by millions of users across Southeast Asia, helping simplify complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-performance iOS experiences. The position combines strong technical execution with product thinking, where user experience, stability, and scalability are equally important. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers in a distributed global team. A key part of the role involves improving performance, reliability, and usability across production-grade mobile applications. Accountabilities
- Build, ship, and maintain high-quality iOS features using Swift for a large-scale financial super app
- Develop intuitive user experiences across insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial journeys
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate complex workflows into simple mobile experiences
- Integrate REST APIs and ensure application stability, scalability, and performance in production environments
- Continuously improve app performance including speed, responsiveness, memory usage, crash rates, and battery efficiency
- Use analytics and user feedback to identify opportunities for product and UX improvements
- Contribute to AI-assisted mobile features that enhance user experience and operational efficiency
- Participate in code reviews, engineering standards, and continuous improvement of the iOS codebase
- 3+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift
- Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade iOS applications
- Solid understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and modern iOS architecture patterns
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
- Strong knowledge of mobile UX, usability principles, and user-centered design
- Experience working in remote, distributed engineering teams
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to deliver high-quality work independently
- Strong attention to performance, reliability, and product quality
- Experience with shipped apps (App Store links, GitHub, or portfolio) is highly valued
- Familiarity with AI-assisted features or on-device ML (e.g., TensorFlow Lite) is a plus
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving product environments
