Product Owner Network Security Operations
Freelance, full remote 16 months mission starting 1 Sep 2024
EU residents only.
Key Requirements
- Strong understanding of international and industrial corporate network infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Palo Alto network components (STRATA, PRISMA)
- Strong overall knowledge of network security best practices inside business and industrial companies
- Strong LAN (routing and switching), WAN and overall network understanding
- Strong network troubleshooting skills
- Project coordination skills
- Being able to create technical documentation associated to his scope
- Being able to lead, coordinate and support his team
- Being able to support pressure during incident crisis
- Full professional English and French
The Mission
Our client is looking for a leader for their Network Security Operations team, managing more than 100 network IT firewall appliances.
As a service owner, you are expected to:
- Lead a team of 6 peoples (juniors and seniors)
- Manage the escalations from users and project managers
- Provide your technical expertise on the network security infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and manage major incidents
- Communicate and have a strong relationship with Security & Compliance architect and engineers to follow their guidance, and provide them your operation expertise
- Manage our vendors (KPIs, follow up on service requests/incidents/complex changes, budgets)
- Have a service and delivery oriented state of mind
- Track your KPIs, your team projects, and the team capacity
- Manage the lifecycle of the appliances you own
- Manage the licenses of the appliances, products and support contracts you own
- Improve your service both on process and security sides
- Maintain the documentation of your service
- Help the junior members of the team to grow their expertise
