Job Description


We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!


The Role

• Support vulnerability identification, analysis, and remediation across UNIX/Linux systems, VMware, and containerized environments.

• Apply security engineering best practices to cloud environments in AWS and Azure.

• Ensure secure configurations, compliance alignment, and risk mitigation across application, infrastructure, and data layers.

• Provide end-to-end security support for data modernization efforts, including secure workspace provisioning and access controls.

• Guide users through the Security Impact Analysis (SIA) process and collaborate with teams to integrate security requirements into automated workflows.


What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in security engineering, cloud security, or cybersecurity compliance.

• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, or similar.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate security needs effectively.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
