Job Description
Hiring at DIRTS: A Packaging Designer who designs for the add-to-cart, not the portfolio award.
Not "proficient in Photoshop."
Not "has a great eye."
Someone who knows a product image either earns the click or dies in the feed, and that a scroll-stopping static is engineered — not stumbled into. If "thumb-stop," "visual hierarchy," "PDP image stack," and "dieline" are everyday words to you and you're already generating creatives with Midjourney, Flux or Nano Banana — not planning to "learn AI someday" — keep reading.
About DIRTS
DIRTS is a fast-growing D2C wellness and lifestyle brand based in India, building innovative, non-invasive products like Foot Alignment Socks, Barefoot Socks, TENS Massagers, Winter Socks, Gloves, and more. We sell across our own website and marketplaces, and we grow on the back of paid creative. We're hiring a full-time Packaging Designer to own everything visual a customer touches — the box in their hands, the images that sold it, and the ads that got them there.
Why we're being specific:
Most designers can make something pretty. Few can make something that sells. The skill we need sits at the intersection of design craft and performance marketing — someone who never needs to be told which colour palette, which font, or how to compose the image, and who instinctively knows why one static outclicks another, why a packaging box reads premium at arm's length, and why a "beautiful" design can still lose money. We won't be art-directing your basics — if you need a brief explaining how to design the image, this isn't your role. Craft without conversion is just expensive decoration.

What you'll own:
- Product packaging end-to-end — concepts, dielines, colour and typography systems, print-ready files that look premium in hand and on camera.
- Website product description images — the full PDP image stack: benefit callouts, comparison frames, infographics, lifestyle composites that turn browsers into buyers.
- Static ads for Meta and Google — designed for the auction, shipped in volume, iterated from performance data.
- Banners, landing page creatives, marketplace listing images (Amazon A+ and the like) — basically everything visual a DTC brand runs on.
- Generating creatives with the frontier of AI image tools — Midjourney, Flux, Nano Banana, Firefly, GPT image gen — to produce, iterate and deploy more variants faster, blended so cleanly nobody can tell.
- Volume and variation — multiple versions of the same concept, tested ruthlessly, not one hero design a month.
- Researching Meta Ad Library, competitor PDPs and winning D2C packaging worldwide — pulling inspiration from what's actually running and converting, not from Pinterest boards.
- Working alongside copywriters, editors and the performance team so the design carries the message, not fights it.

- You've designed packaging AND performance statics for D2C, e-commerce, wellness, skincare, beauty or supplement brands — both, not one or the other.
- You can show us 3–5 statics you've designed that delivered measurable results — and the packaging work you're proudest of — and talk about what worked and what didn't.
- First-hand static ads experience: your designs have been judged by CTR and CPA, not by a creative director's mood.
- You research before you design — Ad Library, competitor stores, category best-sellers. You know where winning creative lives and how to study it.
- You're hands-on with the latest AI image tools and you keep up as they evolve. You can prompt, generate, clean up and ship creatives that don't look "AI."
- You think in hierarchy and hooks. You design fast. You revise faster.
- Colour, typography and composition are decisions you make, not questions you ask.
- You're comfortable being judged on numbers, not on how clever the design looked.
- You're based in Noida (or willing to relocate / commute to our Noida office).
The role:
Full-time, work from our Noida office (G-118, Sector-63, Noida).

Working closely with the founder, performance team and creative team.
Direct feedback loops, lots of ownership, no corporate ladder between you and the work.
Probably not the right fit if:
- Your portfolio is mostly logos, wedding cards, social media posts or brand decks.
- You've never had a design judged by metrics or had to defend one with numbers.
- You need direction on colours, fonts, or how an image should be built.
- You see AI generation as cheating rather than an edge — or you're waiting to "get around to learning it."
- You do your best work with two weeks per creative and no volume pressure.
- You're representing an agency rather than yourself.
Put your portfolio link at the top of your CV — we click every one. If this sounds like your kind of role, we'd love to hear from you. Bonus points if your portfolio includes a static made with AI-generated imagery and we can't spot it.
