About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team in a permanent capacity, working 40 hours per week. This role involves developing and maintaining internal software tools critical to the next phase of our quantum processor development roadmap. The successful candidate will work across various levels of our software stack, from high-level quantum algorithm definitions to executing pulse sequences on physical hardware in our laboratories. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential, as is the ability to produce high-performance, robust, and scalable software solutions. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering research and development in quantum computing, working in a fast-paced, innovative environment that values technical excellence and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, physics, or a related field. A minimum of four years of professional experience in software development within an industry setting is required. Experience in scientific research or R&D environments is considered an asset. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Python programming, a solid understanding of good coding practices, and excellent communication skills in English. Additional expertise in database management, distributed systems, cloud technologies, DevOps, compiler development, or GUI design will be viewed favorably.
