About The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at DualEntry, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. This position requires full ownership of major components of the product UI, primarily utilizing React and Next.js frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure smooth integration and intuitive workflows. Your expertise will contribute to defining the frontend architecture, optimizing performance, and enhancing accessibility across browsers. This role is highly hands-on and fast-paced, demanding a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a relentless pursuit of excellence. You will have the opportunity to influence the company's technical direction, elevate product quality through thoughtful design, and help shape the future of AI-powered ERP solutions. The role is remote, with overlap hours to our New York City headquarters (EST), allowing flexibility while maintaining close team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, particularly with React (Next.js experience is a strong plus)
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including understanding of scoping, closures, prototypes, classes, and more
• Solid understanding of responsive UI design, accessibility standards, and usability principles
• Experience building and testing APIs, with familiarity in HTTP protocols, Postman, and debugging tools
• Strong product thinking with an eye for detail and polish in UI/UX design
