Senior Product Engineer – (United States)

Compensation: Up to $250k+ + Equity

A venture-backed fintech startup is building modern infrastructure for one of the most operationally complex areas of global business: indirect tax compliance. Having recently closed a major funding round and already supporting hundreds of customers across multiple industries, they’re now hiring experienced product-minded engineers to help scale the platform and expand into new product areas.

This is a high-ownership role for engineers who enjoy moving quickly, solving messy real-world problems, and working closely with customers to build software that genuinely improves workflows.

What you’ll do:

• Build and ship full-stack product features from concept through production

• Design systems and workflows that automate complex operational processes
• Work closely with founders, product leadership, and operations teams to identify pain points and turn them into scalable solutions
• Contribute across customer-facing products, internal tooling, integrations, and platform infrastructure
• Help shape technical direction, architecture, and engineering standards as the company scales

The environment suits engineers who are highly autonomous, commercially aware, and comfortable operating with ambiguity.

You’ll likely bring:

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software
• Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, React, and modern backend systems
• A track record of owning projects end-to-end in fast-moving environments
• Strong product instincts and attention to user experience
• The ability to turn loosely defined problems into practical, scalable solutions

Previous experience in fintech, workflow automation, compliance systems, developer tooling, or AI-enabled products is helpful but not essential.
