Full Stack Engineer

Role Description We are seeking an entrepreneurial, high-velocity Full Stack Engineer to join our founding engineer in Minneapolis. In this role, you won't just maintain existing pipelines—you will actively architect, design, and build new product features from the ground up. You will work closely with executive leadership and product owners to translate real-world market feedback into secure, high-performance, and scalable applications. We are in the build stage. If you thrive in fast-paced startup environments and want to have massive, direct ownership over the technical direction of a platform, we want to talk to you.

This position operates on a hybrid cadence out of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Candidates must be local or planning immediate relocation to collaborate in person with the core leadership team.

Qualifications

• Full-Stack Development: Design, write, and deploy clean, modular, and maintainable code across the entire application layer (robust backend APIs and high-performance frontend interfaces).

• Architecture & Design: Participate in defining database schemas, system architecture, and integration frameworks to support complex transactional data and rapid platform expansion.
• Feature Ownership: Collaborate with the Technical Product Owner to scope complex business initiatives, break them into buildable technical execution steps, and carry them across the finish line.
• Engineering Velocity: Maintain exceptionally high engineering standards by writing comprehensive automated tests, performing thorough code reviews, and continually optimizing our deployment pipelines.

• Startup Agility: 2+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, ideally within a fast-moving startup, growth-stage SaaS company, or agile engineering group.
• Technical Stack Familiarity: Proven capability building modern web applications. Experience with robust backend ecosystems (such as Node.js, Python, or Go), modern frontend frameworks (such as React or Vue), relational databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Fintech Mindset: Prior exposure to building high-security workflows, transaction-heavy systems, financial software integrations, or accounting data is a major plus.
• Pragmatic Problem Solver: You focus on delivering robust, production-grade solutions to users efficiently, prioritizing clean execution and user-centric functionality over over-engineering.
