Develop and oversee integrated, cross-channel marketing strategies across Paid Media, SEO, Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps
Take full commercial ownership of assigned accounts, including forecasting, margin health, scope management, and renewal negotiations
Lead executive-level reporting, QBRs, and strategic storytelling that connect marketing performance to business outcomes and revenue impact
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, delivery excellence, and proactive risk mitigation across all client engagements
Identify and resolve client risks early, managing escalations and safeguarding account health and satisfaction
Mentor and guide internal strategists and delivery teams to strengthen strategic thinking and commercial accountability across accounts

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Director, Client Strategy based in Canada.

This is a senior client leadership role responsible for owning and evolving strategic relationships with high-value B2B accounts. You will act as the primary executive-facing partner, ensuring clients achieve measurable growth outcomes across complex, multi-channel marketing programs. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, commercial ownership, and cross-functional delivery, requiring both big-picture thinking and operational precision. You will guide integrated marketing strategies spanning paid media, SEO, content, CRO, and RevOps, aligning all efforts toward revenue impact. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, you will directly influence retention, expansion, and overall account performance. This position thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where autonomy and ownership are essential. Accountabilities

Requirements

  • 7-12 years of experience in agency, client services, or strategic account management roles, ideally supporting B2B SaaS or technology clients.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex portfolios ($2M+), including ownership of renewals, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing disciplines including Paid Media, SEO, Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior client stakeholders at VP, CMO, and CRO level.
  • Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to translate data and performance into clear business narratives.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing forecasts, margins, contracts, and renewal economics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority in fast-paced environments.
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong operational discipline and attention to detail.
