Their IT function is solid but built for an earlier stage. The opportunity is to take it from a responsive support function to a proactive enabler of productivity, AI adoption and seamless multi-region working. The team of four supports colleagues across all offices plus remote customer-facing colleagues in additional jurisdictions. They are looking for a leader who raises the bar on service delivery, modernises the equipment and infrastructure colleagues rely on every day, coaches the team to deeper consultative capability, and treats AI and automation as genuine pillars of how IT is run.
What you'll do
- Redesign the IT service delivery model to be faster, more proactive and more consultative, with measurable improvements in response times and colleague experience.
- Treat automation and AI as core pillars of the function, transforming internal IT workflows, multiplying team capacity and embedding AI thinking across the business.
- Act as the company's trusted internal advisor on AI tooling and workflows, partnering with the internal AI Enablement programme to shape tooling decisions and help other functions adopt AI safely and effectively.
- Own the end-user equipment fleet and lifecycle across every geography, including procurement, secure provisioning, MDM and endpoint management, asset tracking, and joiner/mover/leaver experience.
- Own the corporate IT infrastructure that underpins the business: identity and access, networking and connectivity across offices, collaboration platforms and integrations.
- Lead data hygiene and storage rationalisation across the workplace technology estate, partnering with the CISO and Security team to reduce terabyte-level storage, retire legacy drives, and stay aligned with GDPR.
- Lead, coach and grow the IT team across multiple geographies, deepening their advisory and consultative capability.
- Partner closely with DevOps, SRE, Security and Data peers across the CTO and CFO functions.
