Responsibilities
Server, Storage & Application Environment Support
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain, audit, and optimize the enterprise server, storage, and application environments to ensure peak runtime efficiency and data availability.
- Hardware Deployment: Physically rack, configure, cable, and deploy server components and hardware assets for localized business units as operational demands arise.
- Storage Allocation & Auditing: Monitor storage capacity usage patterns, evaluate data volume performance, and generate precise data forecasting models to plan for future expansion.
- Lifecycle Governance: Continuously evaluate the operational lifecycle of active hardware and software configurations, architecting seamless migration blueprints to prevent technical debt.

Project Coordination & Disaster Recovery
- HQ Process Alignment: Act as a critical operational bridge—negotiating, aligning, and applying local stakeholder requirements to ensure total synchronization with global headquarters' standard processes.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Architecture: Formulate, implement, and maintain rigorous disaster recovery testing methodologies across all designated enterprise environments.
- Technology Assessment: Collaborate directly with project engineering teams to review, stress-test, and recommend next-generation hardware and software applications.
Maintenance Operations & Team Leadership
- System Troubleshooting: Leverage a highly disciplined methodology to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex systemic server and database processing errors.
- Change Process Management: Lead scheduled system updates, testing windows, and hardware modifications, participating in occasional after-hours support shifts, weekend work, or domestic/international travel.
- Leadership & Reporting: Compile and deliver regular operational health metrics directly to the IT management team, providing clear guidance and technical mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications
Required
- Education/Experience: Related Bachelor’s degree, OR 3+ years of progressive professional experience and/or training within a Server and Database Environment.
- Operating Systems Mastery: Comprehensive conceptual and practical knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Server operating systems.
- System Architecture: Solid understanding of modern enterprise server architecture frameworks and advanced server troubleshooting methodologies.
- Data Security Backup Architecture: Working knowledge of Symantec NetBackup Architecture configurations.
- Core Professional Skills: Outstanding interpersonal communication capabilities, strong independent task execution, a team-first attitude, and excellent customer service skills.
