Senior QA Engineer - Own Quality End-to-End on Major Project

NeuroDrift, a US-based AI voice and enterprise software company, is hiring a hands-on QA engineer to own quality on a major project. This is a build role, not a checkbox role. You'll own the test strategy from day one and you're expected to be productive in week one, not month three.

What you'll do

• Own quality end to end on a large, high-stakes project — test strategy, plans, and automation across backend and frontend
• Test real-time, latency-sensitive flows — voice pipelines, streaming data, integrations
• Build automated test suites and wire them into CI/CD
• Own bug triage, regression coverage, and release sign-off on weekly cadences
• Operate what you test — read logs, dig into PostgreSQL, debug across the stack
• Take part in client meetings — surface risk clearly and back your calls

What we need (2.5+ years experience)

• Strong QA / SDET background on production software
• Hands-on test automation — Playwright, Cypress, pytest, or similar
• Solid API and integration testing; comfortable with PostgreSQL and real queries
• CI/CD-integrated testing on AWS-based systems
• Self-driven enough to be productive from week one without hand-holding

Preferred

• Testing real-time / streaming / audio systems
• Experience testing AI/ML or voice products
• Performance and load testing

The setup

• Fully remote
• High-intensity role: 50–60 hours/week — startup pace, not a 9-to-5
• Working hours primarily IST, with availability for client meetings in US time zones
• Immediate joiners only — non-negotiable
• This role is for you if you're a builder who takes ownership of quality instead of waiting for someone to hand you a test plan. If you need heavy structure and direction, this isn't the one.
