What you'll be doing:
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be the go-to expert for resolving infrastructure issues that go beyond the first and second-line teams. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and monitoring a network of 550+ VMs, ensuring smooth operations and security.
The role is a blend of hands-on technical expertise and client relationship management. You'll occasionally visit client sites, providing hands-on support and building relationships. You'll also collaborate with the broader team to implement cutting-edge solutions and drive transformational change.
In essence, you'll be a technology trailblazer, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft, Cisco, and other technologies to optimise services. You'll be a proactive problem-solver, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
- Maintaining and monitoring client infrastructure
- Providing hands-on support at client sites
- Collaborating on projects to implement new solutions
- Leveraging your technical expertise to optimise services
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
What you'll need:
- Proven experience in a 2nd or 3rd Line support role, with a desire to advance your career
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, Teams, Azure, SQL, Cisco routing technologies, and other relevant tools
- You'll be a strong advocate for ITIL process and Change Control
- A client-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a team environment
