🔷 About StrategyBridge
Who we are
We're setting new standards in corporate finance. With a focused team of 30 — one in four of us a former founder — we combine deep expertise in finance, data science and AI to build THE platform for deal & advisory teams, strategy departments, auditors and banks. We're one of the fastest-growing startups in the DACH-region and now scaling internationally. Our ambition is clear: to set the global standard.
Our Culture
- Ownership. You own your topics end to end, from idea to shipped.
- Strong opinions, loosely held. We argue hard about the right solution, then commit together.
- Simple beats clever. The simplest thing that solves the problem wins. We'd rather ship clear code than impressive code.
- Leave it better than you found it. Speed is a priority, but we don't trade it for technical debt that kills future velocity. We build simple, modular systems that are easy for the next person (or future you) to understand.
- Mistakes are a gift. We make mistakes and learn from them. The one thing we avoid is making the same one twice.
- Serious about the work, not about ourselves. We take our goals seriously, ourselves less so.
🔷 The role: Frontend Engineer (React/Next.js)
Small team, high bar. You'll help shape how our product looks and behaves for corporate finance teams who use it every day — taking features from idea to production with the motivation and ownership of a founder. We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of professional experience. Your responsibilities will include:

- Challenge the 'why' behind a feature. You think about the edge cases of an M&A workflow and how a user will actually interact with data-heavy dashboards.
- Design and build high-performance features in React / Next.js.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define clean, efficient APIs and data flows.
- Shape frontend architecture and contribute to key product decisions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to build the best UX.
- Bring an eye for design and usability: you know what “good UI” feels like and how to get there.
- Maintain a clear overview of our systems, addressing technical debt while ensuring performance, accessibility, and long-term scalability.
- Take ownership from concept to deployment, continuously improving our stack.
🔷 Qualifications - to be successful in this role, you will need:
Must-haves
- We expect the motivation and ownership of a founder. You own problems end-to-end and care more about the user outcome than your ticket description.
- 2+ years of professional experience with proven track-record designing & developing scalable and reliable software.
- Technical fluency, including TS / React / Next.js and TailwindCSS. You understand what’s happening "under the hood" of your framework and state management (Zustand/React Query).
- Experience handling complex, data-heavy frontends. You know how to keep a UI responsive when dealing with large datasets or complex filtered views.
- You use AI/LLM tools to move faster, but you have the technical depth to audit their output and maintain high code quality. No "AI slop".
- You've built with LLMs in production — and know the difference between a demo and something users can actually rely on.
- Strong communication and structured problem-solving skills.
- Degree in CS, Math, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-haves
- Experience in fintech and data-intensive applications
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Python, databases, REST/GraphQL APIs).
- Founding-experience - entrepreneurial drive, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity.
🔷 What we offer
- Responsibility from day one: flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and the room to actually shape the product.
- Upside: competitive compensation - base + bonus + VSOP - you share in the upside, not just the workload.
- Learning curve: one of the steepest you’ll find in Germany. Not an empty claim — ask the team.
- People: Build with experts from Big Tech, Silicon Valley, Investment Banking, and Hedge Funds.
- Setup: Munich, hybrid. Modern office, EGYM Wellpass, team events, tax-free benefits.
- Relocation: company apartment in Munich available on request.
