DevSecOps Engineer
Remote (EU) | Permanent
We're supporting a rapidly growing European technology company that is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to help embed security into its cloud infrastructure, development workflows, and software delivery pipelines.
This is a hands-on role for someone who believes security should accelerate innovation rather than slow it down. You'll work closely with Platform Engineers, Security Architects, Software Engineers, and Cloud teams to build secure-by-design systems and automate security throughout the entire development lifecycle.

What you'll be doing
- Embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native platforms
- Designing and implementing DevSecOps practices across engineering teams
- Automating security testing, vulnerability management, and compliance checks
- Collaborating with development teams to improve secure coding practices
- Supporting cloud security initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code security controls and governance frameworks
- Building automated monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities
- Performing threat modelling, security assessments, and risk analysis
- Helping drive a security-first engineering culture across the organisation

What we're looking for
- 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering
- Strong understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes environments
- Familiarity with application security, secrets management, and identity management
- Experience implementing security automation within development workflows
- Strong scripting or development skills using Python, Go, Bash, or similar technologies
