About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that serve our platform’s core functionalities. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional backend development experience, with at least 3 years focused on PHP in a production environment. Strong proficiency in MySQL is essential, including relational database design, query optimization, and management. Experience deploying applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3, is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, and familiarity with Ruby on Rails, will be considered advantageous. A proven track record of writing clean, well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and implementing security best practices is essential. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and a passion for staying current with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and database schemas using PHP and MySQL to support platform functionalities.
