BangoPure Limited is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our growing international team.
BangoPure delivers a diverse portfolio of digital platforms and sustainability-driven solutions focused on sustainability, traceability, digital transformation, international trade facilitation, and circular economy initiatives. We are actively developing next-generation solutions including Digital Product Passport (DPP) platforms, blockchain-enabled traceability systems, and decentralized applications designed to transform global supply chains.

We are looking for a highly skilled Blockchain Engineer who can architect, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade blockchain solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Development, DevOps, AI, QA, and Business units.

The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in blockchain technologies, smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and enterprise blockchain architectures.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable blockchain solutions and decentralized applications (dApps).
* Build and maintain smart contracts for enterprise and supply chain applications.
* Develop blockchain-based traceability and Digital Product Passport (DPP) solutions.
* Design secure and efficient blockchain architectures aligned with business requirements.
* Integrate blockchain networks with existing enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party platforms.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
* Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership on blockchain-related initiatives.
* Conduct smart contract audits, testing, and security reviews to ensure platform reliability.
* Optimize blockchain performance, scalability, and transaction efficiency.
* Troubleshoot and resolve blockchain network, smart contract, and integration issues.
* Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development standards.
* Stay updated with emerging blockchain technologies, standards, and industry best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications
* Minimum 5+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience.
* Strong software engineering background with expertise in Java and backend development.
* Proven experience developing enterprise-grade blockchain applications.
* Strong understanding of distributed systems and decentralized architectures.
* Experience working in Agile development environments.
* Ability to work independently within a fully remote international team.
Technical Requirements
* Blockchain Technologies
* Strong experience with Web3 technologies and blockchain integration.
* Hands-on experience with Ethereum, Polygon, and other EVM-compatible blockchains.
* Experience with Hyperledger Fabric and enterprise blockchain solutions.
* Strong knowledge of Solidity smart contract development.
Experience implementing token standards including:
* ERC-20
* ERC-721
* ERC-1155
Experience developing and integrating decentralized applications (dApps).
Understanding of consensus mechanisms such as Proof of Stake (PoS), Proof of Authority (PoA), and Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT).
Smart Contract Development
Smart contract architecture, deployment, testing, and optimization.

Experience using frameworks such as:
* Hardhat
* Truffle
* Foundry
* OpenZeppelin
Knowledge of smart contract security best practices and vulnerability mitigation.
Experience performing smart contract testing and auditing.
Backend & Integration

Strong experience with:
* REST APIs
* Microservices architecture
* Backend development

Experience with:
* Spring Boot
* Node.js
* Express.js
Experience integrating blockchain applications with external enterprise systems.
Databases

Experience with one or more of the following:
* PostgreSQL
* MySQL
* MongoDB
* Redis
* DevOps & Cloud

Experience with:
* Docker
* Kubernetes
* CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with cloud platforms including:
* AWS
* Microsoft Azure
* Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Digital Product Passport (DPP) solutions.
Knowledge of supply chain traceability platforms.
Experience with zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP), DID, or Verifiable Credentials (VCs).
Understanding of AI integration within blockchain ecosystems.
Familiarity with IPFS, decentralized storage, and blockchain interoperability protocols.
Experience working with cross-chain solutions and bridges.
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
