Job Description
Job Title: Network Architect (Active SC Clearance Required)
Day Rate: £400/day (OUTSIDE IR35)
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Length: 6 months (extendable)
Network Architect (Active SC Clearance Required) - Role & Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and governance for the design, development, implementation and testing of complex customer LAN/WAN solutions, working closely with project managers and delivery teams.
- Own the low-level design and discovery activities, ensuring successful transition from existing infrastructure to the target solution architecture.
- Review and sign off high-level designs and requirements, translating them into detailed technical deliverables and Statements of Work.
- Manage technical risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are delivered in line with quality and customer expectations.
- Coordinate internal, customer and third-party technical teams, providing technical assurance from pre-sales through delivery, acceptance into service and warranty support.

Network Architect (Active SC Clearance Required) - Required Experience
- Extensive experience designing and delivering complex enterprise LAN/WAN solutions, with strong knowledge of IP networking, routing and switching technologies.
- Proven background working within telecommunications, managed services or large enterprise environments, delivering large-scale network transformation projects.
- Strong technical expertise across WAN technologies including MPLS, SD-WAN, 3G/4G and hybrid cloud connectivity, alongside knowledge of firewall platforms and network security.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide technical leadership across customer, internal and third-party teams.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA and CCNP Enterprise, with experience producing detailed design documentation and managing technical risks throughout delivery.
