Data Engineer
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
We're working with an organisation looking to strengthen its data capability with the addition of a Data Engineer.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of data initiatives, supporting the development and optimisation of modern data platforms and pipelines that enable reporting, analytics, and business decision-making. You'll collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while contributing to the delivery of reliable, scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes
- Support the delivery of cloud-based data solutions
- Assist with data modelling, transformation, and optimisation activities
- Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business needs
- Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and performance
- Contribute to data platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support reporting, analytics, and wider data-driven projects

Required Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Understanding of data warehousing and modern data platforms
- Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Desirable Experience
