About The Role

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time or contract basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about web development, particularly in WordPress, PHP, and related technologies. The successful candidate will work remotely, collaborating with our team to enhance and maintain our website, develop new features, and ensure optimal performance. While the position is primarily off-campus, candidates should be local and available for in-person meetings prior to major project milestones and planning sessions. This role offers the flexibility of a mobile office setup, allowing you to work from anywhere while maintaining regular communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or completed diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• 2-4+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, PHP, and web technologies.
• Proficiency in WordPress customization, theme development, and plugin integration.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Positive personality with a proactive learning attitude and a passion for staying updated with the latest web development trends.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
