Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect
Location: Corporate Office in Tulsa, OK
Base Salary Range: $135,000 - $165,000

Overview: The Cybersecurity Architect is a key technical leader responsible for strategic planning and guidance for technology solutions to protect computer systems, information, and networks from various threats. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives, mentor IT staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic planning and guidance for technology solutions that defend and protect their computer systems, information, and networks from intentional or unintentional access, modification, or destruction. Serve as a thought leader in cybersecurity, staying updated on the latest trends and technologies to keep our systems ahead of potential threats.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a Cybersecurity subject matter expert informing Enterprise Architecture, guiding Engineering teams in the application of practical controls, and ensuring the operational readiness of related technologies.
- Multidisciplinary Expertise: Leverage expertise in fields such as client and server systems, networking, and application development to develop comprehensive cybersecurity strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that technologies and processes are compliant with regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor other IT staff and assist IT Managers in coordinating workloads to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure security solutions are effectively integrated and executed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of security goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 5-10 years of experience as a Solutions Architect with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions that are compliant with SOX, HIPAA, or PCI. (all three are not required but at least be familiar with one of these.)
- Deep understanding of vulnerability management, data loss prevention, SIEM architecture, and logging.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence engineering teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in strategic planning and the ability to develop long-term technology roadmaps.
- Familiarity with the role of a Pre-Sales Engineer is a plus, with the ability to discuss, design, and set technology direction without being hands-on in production.
