Senior .NET Engineer - London/Nottingham
Fully Remote (must be based in UK)
Up to £100k/year (high-ownership "mid level" Engineers also welcome up to £80k)
You would be working with a leading SaaS business powering the energy sector, who are investing heavily in their engineering organisation. The Opportunity
You'll join the team responsible for the lifecycle of customer accounts, building APIs and event-driven services that power critical business processes.
The engineering team is in the middle of an exciting transformation, balancing:
- Modernising a large monolithic platform into decoupled services
- Building new customer-facing capabilities
- Supporting an established SaaS product used at scale
- Driving improvements across architecture, engineering practices and developer experience

Technology
- .NET, C#
- Azure AND AWS (MUST have strong experience in at least 1 of these)
- Event-driven architecture (SNS/SQS)
- REST APIs
- Angular (with React adoption beginning - React experience very welcome)
- Some bits in TypeScript - not essential experience though
- ECS / EKS experience very welcomed!
You'll likely have:
- Strong commercial experience with .NET and modern backend development
- Full Stack experience (Angular or React preferred)
- Experience building cloud-native applications in Azure and/or AWS
- Infrastructure-as-Code exposure (Terraform desirable)
- An understanding of distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- The confidence to contribute ideas rather than simply deliver requirements
