Shift: Night Shift (EST Hours)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of web and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, API testing, defect management, and quality assurance processes across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

• Validate business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.

• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Conduct API testing and database validation activities.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.

• Support release validation, deployment verification, and production testing.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Strong experience testing web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

• Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Working knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to automation testing frameworks and tools.

• Experience working with US-based clients and distributed teams.

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

• Experience in Agile software development environments.
