🔧 Hiring: Senior React Native Engineer — Part-Time (Maintenance & Oversight) at InstaSupply
InstaSupply is building the Instacart for construction materials — an AI-first marketplace connecting contractors and suppliers across the Greater Toronto Area for same-day job-site delivery. Our apps are built and live. Now we need an experienced engineer to help keep them healthy.
This is a light, flexible, fully remote role designed for a senior engineer who already has a full-time job and wants meaningful side work. It's not a heavy time commitment — it's maintenance, oversight, the occasional bug fix, and small feature additions as they come up. Perfect if you're a seasoned developer looking for steady extra income without leaving your current role.
🛠 What you'll do
- Keep our React Native apps (customer, supplier, driver) running smoothly
- Diagnose and fix bugs as they come up
- Add small new features when needed
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on the codebase
- Keep our Supabase backend healthy — Postgres, Edge Functions, Realtime, push notifications

✅ You're a fit if you have
- 16+ years of professional software/mobile development experience
- 7–8+ years hands-on with React Native, with production apps shipped
- Strong Supabase experience (Postgres, Edge Functions, Realtime)
- Genuinely up to date with current tech and AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, LLM APIs) — you work the modern way
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Reliability and good judgment — able to handle issues independently in a few hours a week
- Bonus: marketplace, logistics, or delivery-app experience
