This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SEO Specialist based in India.

This role is an opportunity for a results-driven SEO professional to take ownership of organic growth for large-scale websites targeting competitive international markets. You will work on improving search visibility, traffic acquisition, and content performance through a combination of technical SEO, content strategy, and link-building execution. The position involves deep hands-on work with SEO tools, data analysis, and website optimization, while also collaborating closely with content and outreach teams to deliver measurable growth. You will be responsible for building scalable SEO systems including semantic structures, keyword clustering, and performance dashboards. The environment is fast-paced, highly analytical, and focused on driving consistent, trackable organic performance improvements across evolving web properties.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end SEO performance, combining technical optimization, content strategy, and off-page execution to grow organic traffic and search rankings.

  • Conduct semantic keyword research, cluster analysis, competitor audits, and backlink audits to define SEO strategy
  • Develop and optimize website structure to improve crawlability, indexability, and user experience
  • Create and maintain SEO dashboards, reporting systems, checklists, and content optimization guidelines
  • Manage end-to-end link-building processes, including outreach coordination, placement validation, and indexation tracking
  • Collaborate with content teams to identify gaps, optimize service pages, and improve search relevance
  • Execute technical SEO audits and implement improvements for website performance and scalability
  • Monitor SEO KPIs closely and generate actionable performance reports
  • Support content publishing and updates using CMS platforms such as WordPress

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an analytical SEO professional with strong technical expertise, hands-on execution skills, and proven experience driving organic growth for large websites.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Mid-level SEO Specialist, ideally working with large websites (100+ pages) in US or international markets
  • Proven track record of improving organic traffic and search performance (tracked via tools such as Ahrefs or similar)
  • Strong expertise in semantic SEO, keyword clustering, competitor analysis, and link-building strategies
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and Screaming Frog
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, website structure optimization, and indexing best practices
  • Experience building SEO dashboards, reporting frameworks, and operational SEO workflows
  • Familiarity with WordPress and basic content publishing
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret SEO metrics and generate insights
  • Excellent English communication skills (B2-C1 level)
  • Strong proficiency in Google Docs and Excel/Sheets for reporting and documentation
  • Understanding of hosting, website performance, and technical site issues

  • Reliable computer meeting mid-to-high performance specs (i7/Ryzen 5+ with 12GB+ RAM and SSD storage)
  • Stable high-speed internet with strong upload/download performance and low latency
  • Secondary internet connection with similar minimum performance standards
  • Reliable power backup capable of supporting full work shifts (minimum 8 hours)
